Hello, I'm Dvali

Your Professional Photographer
Line drawing sequence showing camera equipment transforming into different shapes.

I’m Khatuna Dvali, a Georgian-born photographer who’s called NYC home for 10 years. I blend my math background with an artistic vision to create structured, compelling images.

Trained by Jerry Ghionis and the New York Institute of Photography, I’m a Certified Professional Photographer (PPA) and founder of DvaliPhotography LLC.

I specialize in NYC shoots, using natural framing—trees, reflections—to craft abstract, emotional compositions.

My work, including the award-winning "Dream of Brooklyn Bridge," has been showcased globally, from Artexpo NY to Stills Centre, Edinburgh.

Khatuna Dvali – Professional Photographer

Founder of DvaliPhotography LLC | Certified Professional Photographer (PPA)

Khatuna Dvali is a Georgian-born photographer based in USA, where she has lived for the past 10 years. Her creative journey began with a background in mathematics, a discipline that continues to inform her work by adding structure and precision to her artistic vision. This unique combination of technical knowledge and artistic sensibility helps Khatuna craft deeply compelling and thoughtfully composed images.

Her professional career in photography began after completing advanced training with renowned institutions such as Jerry Ghionis Photography Training and the New York Institute of Photography, which led her to become a Certified Professional Photographer through the Professional Photographers of America (PPA). She is a proud member of the PPA, where she continues her education and exploration of photography as both a craft and an art form.

Khatuna founded DvaliPhotography LLC, a company that specializes in a variety of professional photo shoots throughout New York City. Her work is distinguished by her use of natural framing, incorporating elements like trees, leaves, and reflections to transform ordinary scenes into abstract, artistic compositions. Her eye for color, light, and symmetry enables her to present familiar places from completely new perspectives, evoking strong emotional responses from viewers.

Her artistic philosophy is based on authenticity and perception. She says, "Photography is the mirror of my soul, a way through which I can reflect the world with all my sincerity and originality."
